Virtualizor billing and automation for VPS hosts

Connect Virtualizor’s admin API and sell its plans as FluxBilling products. A paid order places the VPS on the emptiest server in the chosen location that supports the plan’s virtualisation type, picks free IPv4 addresses from that server’s pool, and builds it; the customer then gets power controls, a VNC console, reinstall and password reset. Unpaid invoices suspend the VPS.

What it costs

The plugin is free. Virtualizor licensing is unchanged.

The Virtualizor plugin is listed at no charge on the FluxBilling marketplace and installs on every tier. FluxBilling plans are priced by the clients you bill, not by the virtual servers on your Virtualizor nodes.

You keep Virtualizor and its licence as they are. The plugin needs an admin API key pair and, optionally, SSH access to the KVM master for Windows guests.

From a paid invoice to a VPS on the right server

The plugin makes the placement and address decisions a person would otherwise make in the Virtualizor admin panel, and records the result on the service.

01OrderThe customer picks a location and an operating system from the ones you allowed, a hostname and a root password — or gets a generated password if the product says so.
02Find or create the Virtualizor userThe customer’s Virtualizor account is matched by exact email and created if it does not exist.
03Pick the serverThe plugin reads the plan’s virtualisation type, lists the servers in the chosen location, and places the VPS on the one with the most free space that supports that type.
04Pick the addressesIt finds the IP pool attached to that server and takes one free IPv4 address, or up to four when the order includes extra addresses.
05Build and hand overThe VPS is created. Virtualizor calls FluxBilling back when its task completes, and on a Windows VPS the plugin can switch on RDP and set the static address through the QEMU guest agent.

Connect Virtualizor in four steps

Limits

What it does not do

Resizing a running VPS is not switched on in this plugin version; plan changes are made in Virtualizor.
Backups and snapshots are not offered through the plugin.
Addresses come from Virtualizor’s IP pools, not from FluxBilling’s IPAM.
Windows guest configuration needs SSH access to the KVM master and the QEMU guest agent in the Windows template.

VPS Panel Migration takes over hypervisor nodes run by Virtualizor. Pointed at the Virtualizor master, it reads the panel’s database over SSH — read-only — and brings across the slave nodes, plans, IP pools and the owner of every VPS. The virtual servers keep running throughout; nothing is stopped, restarted or rebuilt, and Virtualizor stays installed until you choose to remove it.

The VPS module is priced per node, not free, and replacing a panel is a bigger step than connecting one. Both paths are there.

Virtualizor and FluxBilling, answered

Do I need a billing system if Virtualizor has its own billing?: Not always. Virtualizor’s built-in cloud billing covers selling Virtualizor resources. A separate billing system earns its place when you also sell other things — dedicated servers, web hosting, domains, game servers — or want one client area, one invoice and one set of taxes and payment gateways for all of it.
What does the Virtualizor plugin cost?: Nothing. It is free on the FluxBilling marketplace. Your FluxBilling plan is priced by the clients you bill, not by VPS.
How does the plugin choose which server a VPS goes on?: It takes the servers in the chosen location that support the plan’s virtualisation type and places the VPS on the one with the most free space.
Can customers order extra IPv4 addresses?: Yes, up to four addresses in total per VPS, taken from the free addresses in the IP pool of the server the VPS lands on.
Are Windows VPS configured automatically?: Yes, if you give the plugin SSH access to the Virtualizor KVM master: it enables RDP and sets the static address through the QEMU guest agent. Without those settings, Windows guests are built but not configured.
Can I leave Virtualizor without rebuilding customer servers?: Yes. VPS Panel Migration adopts VPS from Virtualizor nodes into FluxBilling’s own VPS module while they keep running. It is a separate, per-node product from this plugin.
