Clientexec pricing in 2026 is $16.95 a month for a Branded Leased licence and $19.95 for Unbranded, or $15.95 and $18.95 a month on yearly billing, all with unlimited clients. Hosted plans cost $25 or $55 a month. Owned (lifetime) licences stopped selling on 16 December 2025, and there is no free edition — only a 30-day trial.
Those lease prices replaced $12.95 and $14.95 a month, the first rise Clientexec has applied to existing customers in its 23-year history. This page lists every plan Clientexec publishes, what the increase changed, what one and three years cost, and what an owned-licence holder pays to stay current.
How this was sourced. FluxBilling publishes this page and sells a product that competes with Clientexec. Every Clientexec figure was read from clientexec.com — the pricing, hosted, reseller and order pages and the 16 December 2025 pricing announcement — on 12 October 2026, and the other vendors’ prices were read from their own pages the same day. Prices are quoted in the currency each vendor publishes and no exchange rate is applied anywhere. Sources are listed at the end. List price is not always the price you are quoted, so check with Clientexec before you buy.

Clientexec pricing in 2026: every published plan
Clientexec sells its billing software three ways: a self-hosted lease you install on your own server, a hosted (SaaS) plan that Clientexec runs for you, and bulk licences for hosts that resell it. Every plan lists unlimited clients and staff, lifetime updates and unlimited support.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing | What is included |
| Branded Leased (self-hosted) | $16.95/mo; $1.00 first month | $15.95/mo | Unlimited clients and staff, lifetime updates, unlimited support. Clientexec branding stays on. |
| Unbranded Leased (self-hosted) | $19.95/mo; $1.00 first month | $18.95/mo | Everything in Branded, plus branding removal. |
| Hosted Basic | $25/mo; $1 first month | $20/mo, pre-paid | Run by Clientexec. Branding removal, custom domain name, “1x” performance. No priority support or free configuration. |
| Hosted Pro | $55/mo | $45/mo, pre-paid | Everything in Basic, “3x” performance, priority support and free configuration (listed as a $50 value). |
The $1.00 first month is advertised as a sale price. The order form we opened on 12 October showed the full monthly price as the total due, so check the total before you pay. The hosted page labels most of its prices “starting at”; no higher hosted tier is published, so treat $25 and $55 as entry points.
Every plan also comes with a free eNom domain reseller account. The $12.00 printed beside it on the pricing page is the .COM registration price through that account, not the value of the account: Clientexec says eNom’s usual volume commitments are waived, and you start with a $25 deposit that is spent on domain and SSL purchases.
Also on the order form: setup is sold as a one-time service — installation $35, configuration only $50, both $65, and a version upgrade done for you $35. And self-hosted licence sales are final and non-refundable, because the 30-day trial is Clientexec’s try-before-you-buy route. Hosted Basic carries a 30-day money-back guarantee; Hosted Pro does not.
Bulk licences for resellers
Hosts that bundle Clientexec with their hosting, dedicated or VPS plans can buy leased licences in bulk, billed monthly: 5 for $45 ($9.00 each), 15 for $120 ($8.00), 25 for $175 ($7.00), 50 for $300 ($6.00), 100 for $500 ($5.00), 250 for $750 ($3.00) and 500 for $1,000 ($2.00), with further licences at $2.00 each in blocks of 100. Your customers get Clientexec’s own support channels.
Branded or unbranded Clientexec: what the extra $3 buys
On the published plan lists, branding removal is the only difference between the two leases. Unbranded costs $3 a month more on either billing cycle — $19.95 against $16.95, or $18.95 against $15.95 on yearly billing — which is $36 a year. Clientexec also lists branding removal as a standalone service at $3.00 a month, or $2.50 a month on yearly billing. Both hosted plans include it. If your client area and invoices carry your hosting brand, it is the cheapest line in this article.
What Clientexec costs over one and three years
List prices in US dollars, before tax, from the published rates. The self-hosted figures are the licence only: the server, backups and patching of the install are yours.
| Plan | 12 months, monthly billing | 12 months, yearly billing | 36 months, yearly billing |
| Branded Leased | $203.40 (12 × $16.95); $187.45 in year one with the $1 first month | $191.40 (12 × $15.95) | $574.20 |
| Unbranded Leased | $239.40 (12 × $19.95); $220.45 in year one | $227.40 (12 × $18.95) | $682.20 |
| Hosted Basic | $300.00 (12 × $25); $276.00 in year one | $240.00 (12 × $20) | $720.00 |
| Hosted Pro | $660.00 (12 × $55) | $540.00 (12 × $45) | $1,620.00 |
| Existing owned licence, support and upgrades | — | $50.04 (12 × $4.17) | $150.12 |
Three things stand out. Yearly billing saves $12 a year on either lease and $60 or $120 on the hosted plans. Hosted Basic on yearly billing costs $12.60 a year more than an Unbranded lease on yearly billing ($240.00 against $227.40), and for that difference Clientexec runs the server you would otherwise pay for and patch. And an existing owned licence is by far the cheapest way to keep Clientexec running.
The 2026 Clientexec price increase
Clientexec announced new lease prices on 16 December 2025. They applied to new signups immediately and to existing customers from 1 February 2026.
| Lease | Before | 2026, monthly | Change | Extra per year | 2026, yearly billing |
| Branded | $12.95/mo | $16.95/mo | +30.9% | +$48.00 | $15.95/mo |
| Unbranded | $14.95/mo | $19.95/mo | +33.4% | +$60.00 | $18.95/mo |
Clientexec said the money would fund product development, stability, security and infrastructure. The release record since then: version 7.0 in March 2026 with a rebuilt, responsive admin area, then 7.1 and 7.2, and 7.2.2 on 17 September 2026, which fixes a security issue affecting 7.0 to 7.2. The lease figures are unchanged since our previous check on 18 August 2026.
Clientexec’s pricing FAQ says your price never rises as your company grows. That holds for tiers — there are none to climb — but the list price itself rose in 2026, for new and existing customers alike.
Can you still buy an owned Clientexec licence?
No. The same 16 December 2025 announcement discontinued owned-licence sales with immediate effect, so a new install today means a lease, a hosted plan or a reseller bundle. Clientexec states that all existing owned and lifetime licences remain fully valid and nothing changes for current holders, and that support and updates for them can still be renewed.
Renewal is the line to budget. The order form lists a support-and-upgrades plan for owned licences at $4.17 a month on a one-year term — $50.04 a year — covering a year of support and a year of upgrades. Clientexec’s release posts offer new versions to existing customers who are eligible for updates, so if your plan has lapsed, confirm your eligibility before you count on the 7.2.2 security fix.
For a holder the arithmetic favours staying put: $50.04 a year to keep an owned licence current, against $191.40 for a Branded lease on yearly billing. Moving onto a lease only makes sense if something else forces the change.
Is there a free version of Clientexec?
No. Clientexec has no free edition. What it offers instead:
- A 30-day trial licence, issued automatically when you install Clientexec on a domain, including through a script auto-installer that supports it. One trial per domain; after 30 days you need a paid licence.
- A $1.00 first month on both leases and on Hosted Basic — an intro rate, not a free plan.
- A public demo of the admin portal, client portal and order form at demo.clientexec.com.
- The free eNom reseller account, which is free domain reselling, not free billing software.
Copies of Clientexec offered elsewhere as “free” or “nulled” are pirated, get no updates, and put client and payment data on software that misses security fixes such as 7.2.2.
If you are weighing a move
The other platforms hosting providers shortlist, at the prices their vendors publish:
| Platform | Published price | Model | Read |
| WHMCS | $34.95/mo for 250 active clients, $54.95 for 500, $84.95 for 1,000; Cloud from $9.99/mo for 25 | Self-hosted licence or managed cloud, priced by active clients. | 12 Oct 2026 |
| Blesta | $17.95/mo branded, $20.95 unbranded, unlimited clients; owned from $350 one-time | Self-hosted. Owned licences still sold, with a year of support and updates. | 12 Oct 2026 |
| HostBill | $599, $999, $1,599 or $5,999 one-time; updates $125/year after year one | Self-hosted perpetual licence, no monthly plan. | 12 Oct 2026 |
| Upmind | Free tier; paid tiers not published | Hosted SaaS. | 12 Oct 2026 |
| Paymenter | Free, open source (MIT); v1.5.9 released 2 October 2026 | Self-hosted; you maintain it. | 12 Oct 2026 |
| FluxBilling | €4.95 to €25/mo; US accounts $5.95 to $29/mo | Managed SaaS for hosting providers; self-hosting on Business for a one-time €50 ($59). | Our price list |
Where FluxBilling sits, in its own terms: it is billing for hosting providers and datacenter operators, sold as managed SaaS at €9.99 a month for 150 clients, €14.99 for 250 and €25 for unlimited clients — for accounts in the United States, $11.99, $17.99 and $29. Those are set price points, not conversions. Billing, DCIM, IPAM and the plugin system are on every tier, with six provider plugins: Proxmox, VirtFusion, Virtualizor, SolusVM 2, Pterodactyl and cPanel. The like-for-like Clientexec comparison is Hosted, not a lease: $29 for FluxBilling Business against $25 for Hosted Basic or $55 for Hosted Pro.
Where Clientexec wins, plainly: for unlimited clients on your own server, a Branded lease at $16.95 a month costs a little over half of FluxBilling Business at $29, and self-hosting FluxBilling adds a one-time $59 on top. Hosted Basic at $25 is $4 a month below FluxBilling Business for a managed install. Removing Clientexec’s branding costs $3 a month; FluxBilling’s white-label add-on is €25 ($29) a month. Every Clientexec lease includes lifetime updates and unlimited support plus the eNom reseller account, Clientexec offers a 30-day trial where FluxBilling offers a 14-day refund and no trial, and it has 23 years of releases behind it against a platform that is still pre-1.0. If you hold an owned licence, $50.04 a year is hard to beat.
What FluxBilling adds is infrastructure: racks, IP space, devices and provisioning kept in the same records as clients and invoices. If you resell shared hosting and never touch a rack, that is surface you will not use. There is no Clientexec importer in FluxBilling; a move is scoped with the team from an export of clients, services and invoices.
For the full side-by-side, see FluxBilling vs Clientexec, and for Clientexec against the platforms it is most often shortlisted with, WHMCS vs Clientexec in 2026 and Blesta vs Clientexec in 2026. WHMCS pricing and its price increases covers the incumbent in the same format, and every hosting billing vendor’s published prices sit in one table.
If FluxBilling fits, plans start at €4.95 a month ($5.95 for US accounts) on the pricing page, with a 14-day refund on subscriptions — or open the public live demo first, no signup needed.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Clientexec cost?
A self-hosted Clientexec lease costs $16.95 a month branded or $19.95 unbranded, or $15.95 and $18.95 a month on yearly billing, as read on clientexec.com on 12 October 2026. Hosted plans are $25 a month for Basic and $55 for Pro, or $20 and $45 a month pre-paid yearly. Every plan has unlimited clients.
Is Clientexec free?
No. There is no free edition: you get a 30-day trial licence per domain, a $1.00 first month on the leases and Hosted Basic, and a public demo. The free eNom reseller account that comes with every plan is free domain reselling, not free billing software.
Can I still buy a Clientexec owned (lifetime) licence?
No. Clientexec stopped selling owned licences on 16 December 2025. Existing owned and lifetime licences remain valid, and holders can renew support and upgrades for $4.17 a month on a one-year term, which is $50.04 a year.
What is the difference between branded and unbranded Clientexec?
Branding removal. Unbranded Leased costs $3 a month more than Branded — $19.95 against $16.95, or $18.95 against $15.95 on yearly billing — which is $36 a year. Both hosted plans include branding removal.
Does Clientexec limit clients?
No. Every Clientexec plan lists unlimited clients and staff, and products, servers, tickets and orders are unlimited too, so growth never moves you up a tier. The list price itself did rise in 2026, for new and existing customers.
