Team Members
Invite people to your account, grant granular permissions by section, manage pending invitations, edit access, and remove members from the Team Members tab.
What the Team Members area is for
Team Members lets you invite other people to access your account so they can help manage services, billing, or support on your behalf. Each person you invite signs in with their own login and can only do the things you specifically allow. The account owner always keeps full access and cannot be locked out.

How to reach Team Members
Open your account profile — either the Profile link in your account menu (top-right) or the Settings item in the sidebar both open the same page. Then choose the Team Members item in the left-hand list (it sits under the Team heading). The item only appears when your login is part of a shared account. If you are a standalone user who has never been added to or created a shared account, the option is hidden.
What you see on the page
- Team Members — everyone who currently has access. Each row shows the person's name, email, a permission count (for example, “5 permissions”), and when they last signed in. The account owner's row is highlighted in amber and carries an Owner badge with a crown; your own row carries a small You badge.
- Pending Invitations — invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted. Each shows the recipient's email, who sent it, and when it expires. This section appears only if you hold the View Team permission and there is at least one outstanding invitation.
- Invite Member button — opens the invite form. Shown only if you hold the Invite Members permission (the owner always sees it).
- Leave Team button — shown to members who are not the owner; lets you remove yourself from the shared account.
Inviting a team member
- Select Invite Member.
- Enter the person's email address in the field at the top of the form.
- Tick the permission checkboxes the person should have. Permissions are grouped into five sections (Services, Billing, Support, Team, Account). Each section has a Select all / Deselect all shortcut so you can grant or clear a whole group at once. You must select at least one permission.
- Select Send Invitation.
An invitation email is sent to the address you entered. The link inside is valid for 3 days. The new invitation then appears under Pending Invitations until it is accepted or expires.
You can only grant permissions you already hold yourself. If you tick a permission you don't have, the invite is rejected with a message telling you which permission was not allowed. If a pending invitation for that email already exists, you'll see “An invitation has already been sent to this email” — revoke the old one first if you need to change its permissions.
Accepting an invitation
The invited person opens the link in their invitation email and lands on a confirmation page that shows the account they're being invited to, who invited them, the email the invite was sent to, and how many permissions they'll receive. What they see next depends on whether they're signed in:
- If they don't have a login yet, the page offers Log In and Sign Up buttons. Choosing Sign Up starts account creation with the invitation email address pre-filled.
- If they already have a login, they sign in first; once signed in with the matching email, the page shows an Accept & Join Team button to complete joining.
- The email of the account they sign in with must match the address the invitation was sent to. If it doesn't, the page shows a mismatch warning and offers a Log in with correct account button.
When someone joins, the account owner receives a notification email.
Editing a member's permissions
- In the member's row, select the shield icon. This control is only available if you hold the Manage Team permission.
- The same grouped permission checkboxes used when inviting appear. Adjust the selection — you can use Select all / Deselect all per section here too.
- Select Save Permissions.
You cannot change the owner's permissions, you cannot edit your own row from here, and you cannot grant a permission you do not hold yourself.
Removing a member
- In the member's row, select the trash icon (requires Manage Team).
- A confirmation dialog warns that the action cannot be undone. Confirm by selecting Remove.
Access is revoked at once and the removed person receives a notification email. The account owner cannot be removed.
Revoking a pending invitation
In the Pending Invitations section, select the cancel icon next to the invitation (requires Manage Team). The invitation link stops working immediately and the entry disappears from the list.
Leaving a team
If you are a member but not the owner, select Leave Team and confirm. You lose access to the shared account's resources and are returned to your own account. To rejoin later you'd need a fresh invitation. The owner does not see this button and cannot leave their own account — ownership would have to be transferred first.
Permissions reference
When inviting or editing a member you choose permissions from five sections. At least one is required. The owner always has every permission, and their permissions can't be changed.

Tips and notes
Grant only what each person needs. A billing contact, for example, only needs View Invoices, Pay Invoices, and Download Invoices — not the full Billing set. Keeping permissions tight limits what a compromised or departing member can touch.
- If someone leaves your company, remove them promptly so they no longer have access to your account.
- Invitations expire after 3 days. If a link has lapsed, send a new invitation rather than reusing the old email.
- The Manage Team permission is powerful — it lets a member edit, remove, and revoke invitations for other members. Hand it out sparingly.
